BIMA award - Brand of the Year 2016
Working with the UK’s biggest conservation organisation, which protects over 350 heritage properties, our task was to redesign their web platform and their iOS and Android apps to appeal to a younger audience.
To cater for a vast array of National Trust properties, we introduced a set of top tier palettes for each property to choose from. Each colour palette was inspired by objects, nature, and buildings related to the National Trust. The secondary tier palettes are used predominately on more ‘content-driven’ pages to make them easier to read and digest.
The general look and feel were inspired by the vast content the National Trust had to offer, from hundreds of historic landmarks to their own historic typeface. My role was to design templates to accommodate the different type of content for a variety of properties, whilst working closely with developers to build an efficient component library across all the viewpoints.
